According to the yesterday’s USA Today newspaper, annual distribution 68 billion, the USA trade deficit hit $566 billion last year, the highest in nine years, defying Trump’s intention to bring more balance to the American trade relationship. The Commerce Department said that the trade gap rose to a level which is the highest since the $708 billion in 2008. Imports were valued at a record $2.9 trillion, outreaching exports by $0.6 billion.

Another of Trump’s successes. Let’s have a parade for fuck sake. Why not call it treason. Why not. But he’s only joking says the WH, the only talking house of which I’ve ever heard.

Please don’t mock my syntax. Churchill was once heard to remark: ‘That is something up with which I will not put’.
He knew – and so do I know – that a preposition is a bad word with which to end a sentence. In other words, “A preposition is a bad word to end a sentence with” – that sentence is bad English.

Trump has surrounded himself with some real winners; I’m sure that any and all interested parties are well aware of what went down yesterday afternoon (Wednesday, Feb. 7th, 2018).

To summarize, courtesy of CNN:

White House staff secretary Rob Porter, a top aide to President Donald Trump, has resigned, the White House confirmed Wednesday, following allegations of abuse from his two ex-wives.

Porter denied the allegations in a statement issued in the wake of his resignation.

“These outrageous allegations are simply false,” he said in his statement. “I have been transparent and truthful about these vile claims, but I will not further engage publicly with a coordinated smear campaign.”

Porter resigned over the objections of White House chief of staff John Kelly and others, a White House official said. Yesterday, it seemed that Porter, pictured with Trump above, was going to stay on “to ensure that there is a smooth transition” according to that lying jerk Sarah Sanders. Things have changed however; Porter’s gone today.

“Rob Porter is a man of true integrity and honor and I can’t say enough good things about him. He is a friend, a confidante and a trusted professional. I am proud to serve alongside him,” Kelly said in a statement.

Jerry says that more allegations of physical and emotional abuse have since surfaced regarding a girl friend that Porter was seeing in the aftermath of his second divorce.

Porter’s denial also said that the photo he took of his wife’s black eye was shot fifteen years ago and the reality behind this picture was different from how it is presently being portrayed by the media.

What? First what difference does it make whether the photo was taken 15 years ago or 15 minutes ago? And second, his wife had stated that he punched her in the face and showed supporting documentation in the form of a photograph which certainly looked like someone had indeed let her have it right in the chops, so to speak.

Pictured above, Porter’s first wife, Colbie Holderness, one of three women accusing Porter of abuse.

How can the reality according to Porter be different? He punched her in the face. End of story

Ruth Marcus of the Washington Post has this to say:
Look at the picture. Really. Look at the picture. The woman’s eye socket is the sickly green-yellow of a healing bruise. Around the eyelid, and in a sickening swoosh underneath, there is the deep plum sic of blood pooling around broken capillaries.

The picture shows Colbie Holderness, one of two ex-wives who have accused senior White House aide Rob Porter of physically abusing them. Porter, in the statement announcing his resignation Wednesday, declared that “these outrageous allegations are simply false. I took the photos given to the media nearly 15 years ago and the reality behind them is nowhere close to what is being described.”

Okay, then, explain the photo, which Holderness says was taken after Porter punched her in the face on a trip to Florence. Bruises like this are not self-inflicted. Why does it matter who took the photo? The question is: Who committed the assault?

Jerry says: Pictured below is his other ex-wife Jennie Willoughby who told The Post in an interview that the White House aide was abusive during their marriage.

For John Kelly, White House Chief of Staff to be so supportive in the wake of these allegations against Porter shows how fucked up this general really is, unlike some veterans who do not support Trump’s plan for a military parade. One vet stated that military parades are generally associated with fascist dictatorships – see Russia, Communist China and North Korea. Another retired General stated on CNN that the president has tended to be authoritarian, with his proposal for a parade being just another manifestation of that moron’s propensity for authoritarian “thought” and quotation marks connote my belief that thinking is alien to that piece of shit.

Also, it has come to light that Kelly was aware of the fact that there were allegations against Porter as early as last fall, however chose to do nothing about it simply because Porter denied the obligations.

The whole thing smells. Really badly. The Trump White House is a joke and so is Trump, according to VP Joe Biden, a voice of sanity.

Peace.
