JuicyLesson 284 : More Fear and Loathing in the Mid-East … Hamas Indoctrinates Kids and Adults … Just Terrible …

Our feature today is video which speaks for itself. It’s a Hamas clip, aimed at kids, glorifying violence, death, and martyrdom. The part about the daughter watching as her very own mother prepares for a suicide bombing mission stands out as a technique of the indoctrination of children employed by this and other Islamic terrorist groups.

Now from yesterday, Monday:

The following are the words of the Hamas TV host, referring to the civilians who died in the Gaza war as “having gained [Paradise]”. I have reprinted this document from yesterday’s (Monday’s) Juice, [283] for the purposes of today’s discussion. The bolded and indented parts are there for a reason.

Hamas TV host: “Every soul has its time. These people – their time had come, and they were Martyred (i.e., Gaza civilians killed in war). They have gained [Paradise]. They have nothing in this world, especially in the Gaza Strip. There’s no life in the Gaza Strip. What life can we have in the Gaza Strip? Being with Allah is better. Being with Allah is better. What we see is very hard but we won’t surrender, Allah willing. The first to say it are the Martyrs’ family. The first to say it are the Martyrs’ mothers and fathers

Don’t be disturbed by these images. He who was killed this way doesn’t feel.

image By Allah, he does not feel. These are not my words, but the words of our beloved Prophet [Muhammad]: He who is Martyred doesn’t feel. Only we suffer … . By Allah, [the Martyr] doesn’t feel. His soul has ascended to Allah. His soul is with the Lord. His soul is inside a green bird. He is with Allah now. He is in Paradise. Only we suffer by these images…

In other cities, in other countries, thousands die in earthquakes, floods, plane crashes, in ferry or shipwrecks, in natural or unnatural disasters. Thousands die. Thousands die but we don’t know what their fate is with Allah. But we [in Gaza] are Martyrs. The enemy has killed us and we are Martyrs.”

COMMENTARY

Firstly, let’s look at the techniques used by this guy to get his message across. Repetition is one of them.. Look at the bolded sections in the document. “He who was killed this way doesn’t feel.” is parroted four times in the second short paragraph alone, by the speaker, supposedly a television host.

image

The above-mentioned “bolds” are obviously designed to deflect fear, fear on the part of the martyr-to-be, fear of death, fear of suffering on the parts of all those involved, specifically and especially the martyrs and their families.

The promise of reward is another technique used by the speaker in what can only be conceived as a recruitment “poster” for martyrs, i.e. suicide bombers and the like, along with that of repetition (see above). “Being with Allah is better. Being with Allah is better.” “The first to say it are the Martyrs’ families. The first to say it are the Martyrs’ mothers and fathers …”

image

Another methodology deployed on more than one occasion to get peoples’ attention is that of the speaker uttering stuff like …

“His soul is with the Lord. His soul is inside a green bird. He is with Allah now. He is in Paradise.”

image

That being said, let us briefly investigate these techniques and the simply-stated and simple message designed to be swallowed up by uneducated, desperate masses of people who see no hope for the future. Hamas is aware of who their audience is. Notice the low-level language, grammar and vocabulary used, at least in this translation. Also, the message is easily grasped, even by children and others who think like them, because of its simplicity of ideas as well as of presentation.

Do this and that will happen. Strap an explosive vest on your body and blow yourselves to kingdom come, taking with you as many innocent by-standers as possible, and you will be rewarded, in Paradise with Allah …

image

“These are not my words, but the words of our beloved Prophet [Muhammad]” … This is another way of communicating used by the speaker, an additional way to both get his message across in the first place, and to get as many people as possible to buy into it in the second. It is a way of saying, Hey! I got something here but it’s me only “delivering” the message which actually issues forth from Muhammad, his-self. What could shroud a message with more legitimacy than the reality that Muhammad was actually the one who conveyed it, initially, that is? Even if the message de-grades and devalues all human and animal life.

Peace.
