Insurrection Juice

Another JuicyLesson from 🇨🇦 Jerry 🇨🇦.

Just sitting watching the House Select Committee hearing into the insurrection of January 6th, 2021. If Trump ends up not being prosecuted, I’m pretty sure that I won’t be the only pissed off person. The man is a conman, a crook and a liar who will say and do anything to get his way. He demanded, illegally, that his vice-president unilaterally and decisively alter the outcome of the election of 2020, which Trump lost in a landslide, according to both the popular and the electoral college votes. He defrauded his followers of what turned out to be $250 million – average donation seventeen dollars – by telling them that their donations would go to Trump’s efforts to contest the results of what he continued to describe as a “stolen election”. These monies ended up in Trump’s pockets and in those of his family and friends, and were not used to contest the election result at all. Scroll down to find out exactly where some of this money ended up instead of being used for the purpose delineated by Trump, publicly, in tweets, and via email.. There were as many as twenty-five emails a day sent to each and every one of his supporters, asking for donations. As well, these donations were to be repeated monthly without people realizing it, with the courts eventually determining that the Trump train had to return around $65 million to supporters who had been duped into their contributions recurring, rather than as the one shot deals as they had intended. Fraud is a crime, is it not?

Back to the insurrection and the pressure being put on Pence to violate several provisions of the Electoral Count Act by rejecting the slate of legally constituted electors and replacing them with electors chosen by state legislators which broke 26 to 24 in favour of the Republicans. Trump actually tweeted something to the effect that the vice-president had the right to reject the electors (in the disputed states) and throw the election to the states. In other words, Trump was trying to discount the votes of some 82,000,000 Americans who had voted for the Democrat, Joe Biden, a total rejection of democracy, an extremely serious offence. He rejected the U.S. constitution to serve his own selfish ends.

I don’t know if the then moron-in-chief really believed that the election was stolen due to his narcissistic personality disorder which didn’t allow him to acknowledge that he really was beaten, or if he knows he lost. In any case, keeping up the charade will allow the now moron-in-waiting to keep lining his pockets with other peoples’ money. This would be a disgusting truth if it is in fact his main or only motivation for declaring the election as having been rigged, a fraud.

Where did the $250 million go? Some of it went to Mark Meadows, Trump’s Chief of Staff, $60,000 went to Donald Trump jr’s fiancée, Kimberly Guilfoyle, for her 2.5 minute speech on the day of the insurrection and some of it was channeled into his hotels, golf courses and to other miscellany. What a fucking prick this guy is and we certainly don’t want to see him run for president in 2024. So get him off the streets and put him in prison where he belongs, for a good long time.

I have only scratched the surface in this JuicyLesson. Stay tuned.

Peace out
